During my first visit to Burning Man in 2011, I was captivated by its enchanting atmosphere. As a photographer, it felt like paradise. I immediately envisioned capturing a wedding in this unique setting, and my dream materialized in 2014 when I had the honor of photographing Stacie and Todd’s elopement.

In preparation for my 2015 journey, Azadeh reached out to me, sharing their intent to exchange vows at Burning Man and inquiring if I could document their special moment. Enthusiastically, I agreed. Despite the challenges of coordinating on location without modern communication, we managed to connect the day before the ceremony. The experience was extraordinary, highlighting the distinct beauty of celebrating love at Burning Man.
